A little of this.
A little of that.

Combine atom counts to discover familiar formulas. A matching formula is a learning example, not a prediction that mixing substances will produce it.

Can you find it?

How matter becomes music.

Atomic number selects a note in a repeating pentatonic scale. The element family shapes the timbre. Atom counts set the rhythm, while the order of your ingredients creates the sequence.

These are designed musical mappings, not an element’s natural frequency or an atomic spectrum. The moving atoms are conceptual illustrations, not electron trajectories or chemical structures.

Read the table

Atomic number is the number of protons. A neutral atom has the same number of electrons. Atomic mass is an average that depends on isotopes; values for short-lived elements may represent a selected isotope. An empty property means no value is supplied, not zero.

Rows are periods. Columns are groups with related electron configurations. The two detached rows are the lanthanides and actinides. The group-3 placement is simplified here.
